I don't have cable. I just never watched a lot of TV.

I originally passed on 'Girls' because I thought TV was evil.

My only close-to-game-plan is to follow good writing. If the writing is in TV or if it's in theater or in film, that's it. It doesn't really matter what the medium is.

I was completely with the reality TV boom for a while. I really liked a lot of the reality TV, and the one that lost me was the ballroom dancing one they do, 'Dancing with the Stars.' That was the one where I watched it and I was perplexed. I thought it was really boring.

For me, becoming a man had a lot to do with learning communication, and I learned about that by acting.

Working on 'Girls' opened up a lot of opportunity for me. It's like a dream job. It's a dream.
