I don't know how an actress is supposed to observe and create new stuff if she hasn't been on the streets, brushing up against humanity. You have to have a life.

They say life's what happens when you're busy making other plans. But sometimes in New York, life is what happens when you're waiting for a table.

It's hard to let new stuff in. And whether that admits a weakness, I don't know.
