I don't really think about having had a hard life. It was just my life, and it's all I knew. It made me who I am - all the good and bad - and it's where all of the songs on Here For The Party came from. I've lived them all.

I think I've lived a pretty hard life. What I mean by hard is that... I've been kind of reckless with things. I'm a passionate person. I'm a super passionate person. I think there's definitely been sorrow in my life, good and bad. I think it comes through. I hope it comes through in my writing because to me that's what artistry is.

I've had good times and bad times. That's me. That's how I am.

I've been in many relationships in my life and learned a lot from them, good and bad.

I am the result of the good choices I've made and the bad choices.

Life is good when we think it's good. Life is bad when we don't think.
