I don't think even ungodly people realize what a society would be like that had no godly influence at all.

When we believe the best of people, we let go of each thing they do that is hurtful to us. And we choose to think things like, 'I don't believe they meant to hurt me.' 'Maybe they're having a bad day or don't feel well.' 'They probably don't even realize how they sound.'

I believe we live in a love-starved society. Everywhere you go there are probably people who haven't had the right kind of love in their lives.

When you're in a leadership role, you can never please all of the people all of the time. There's also a lot of responsibility that goes along with it that others may not realize.

If your inner life is not producing what you would like on the outside, don't be discouraged... just be willing to change.

As a global society, we do not have to agree, endorse or condone the lifestyle choices of others. However, history has taught us that we equally cannot and should not excuse those who would hide behind religion or misuse God's word to justify bigotry and persecution.
