I don't believe he can handle Grade 1 competition on the turf at a mile and a half, but I don't know that he can't handle it at the mile and a quarter on the dirt.

He has handled everything well and settled in nicely. It has been kind of uneventful.

We got lucky, and he's a super horse. It looked like he had it down the lane, and then he didn't. The see-saw back and forth was something else. As it was, it turned out in our favor.
