I don't care. Last year the Red Sox had an offensive machine and they beat the Cardinals with pitching. Go figure.

You have to get good pitching to beat the Red Sox, period. When they have pitching like they do, you can't expect to come in here and just try to go toe-to-toe with them and beat them 9-8 all the time. You're just not going to do it. So we got a good pitching performance and won tonight.

I've said this over the years publicly - this is not a lucrative business. My goal every year is to break even with the White Sox.

No matter what losses happen in a given season, the Red Sox always have next year.

It's statistically impossible to have the Red Sox and Yankees in the Series every year.

We'll have to compare the numbers from this year to ratings for the years prior to the Red Sox and Cardinals. I think this will be a memorable World Series with incredible ratings. I think the numbers will hold up extremely well and will be in the ballpark with last year.
