I don't know how good Winter Springs is, but it concerns me that Mainland is getting touchdowns from special teams and defense. If we fumble like we did tonight, (Mainland's) Tony Wilson picks it up and runs it back and it's already 7-0.

They're fast, they're athletic and they can run like heck. They have a lot of athletes.

The defense played absolutely fantastic. If they don't score, they don't win. That's what I tell (the kids).

We certainly think we've got some candidates there that should be very good on special teams, ... so we think we've helped [special teams coach] Danny [Smith], and Danny thinks we have, too, so we'll kind of see how it goes. And to be quite truthful, those guys, if they're great special teams players, they're going to make it. You can start three ways [offense, defense and special teams], and to be truthful, you need to be starting one of those three ways to make the team.

Our special teams played well.

Turnovers and special teams were our downfall. But we're going to be back. We're going to get better.
