I don't know how many kids out there work as hard as Kelly. She definitely put on some muscle during the fall. Plus the fact that she is constantly pitching. She is not a kid who will sit around and take a month off. She is so driven, and that shows how good of a pitcher that she is.

Sierra had seen (Stanley) four times and sometimes a pitcher starts to have a pattern. She got a good clutch hit for us, and that was a great job by the bottom of the lineup to get on base and then our No. 9 hitter wins it in that fashion.

We've got a great group of kids who work very hard. We're not a veteran team and we're going to have a lot of first timers in the line-up. But I expect us to be one of the top contenders again.

We know how we both train and we just work together to get the workouts done right. As kids, we were just up messing around on alpine skis, just having a good time. We were just trying something different, catching air. We liked it so we just kept doing it. We were competitive the whole way, in a real good way.

All the wins are big for us. It is a good celebration for the kids. They work hard in practice.

It took everything we had, and our kids knew that coming in. We respected them, and we're just glad to get by them.
