I don't know what I'll do as far as running after college, although if an opportunity to compete appears, I would consider it. Right now, I just want us to win the ACC, be in the NCAA and do well at nationals.

I started running track in the fourth grade and never tried any other sports. I was 9 years old and one of my teachers suggested I try running. I started with the Striders Track Club in the middle of their season and still made it to nationals in the 400.

Before I run, I always say a prayer and usually picture myself running. I remind myself of the little things, like getting my knees up, breathing and getting off the block.

At best, most college presidents are running something that is somewhere between a faltering corporation and a hotel.

The college-aged players are a little bit more mature and have the opportunity to move a little bit more quickly through this organization.

Those college coaches are looking two and three years down the line. It's a good opportunity for them to see a lot of players at one time.
