I don't see [our women's team] being happy with anything short of the OUA gold medal.

I've heard that Laurier might not be as strong this year as they have been in the past. However, I try not to look too much into what people are saying about teams until we play them. Each game we play will be played like it is the championship game ... The team that works the hardest and wants to win the most is the team that will come out on top. We plan on being that team.

The big blow to our midfield is losing Heather Stephens. She was a great leader for the team. However, the new players we have brought in have excellent skills and experience. They will fit in just fine, and pick up where Heather left off.

We have a lot of offensive players this year. The best offence is a team offence. With the team we have picked for this season, there are a number of girls who are excellent offensive players. Each one of them will be expected to step it up. A team-oriented offence makes for a much more unstoppable team.

As to those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in God's path, give them, then, the tidings of a painful agony: on a day when these things shall be heated in hell-fire, and their foreheads, and their sides, and their backs shall be branded therewith.
