I don't think anybody can go out there and perform when they're uptight.

He's been very pleasant, but not a surprise. I don't think he leaves anything out there when he's relieving.

I wasn't throwing them out there. The guys want to win. When you don't win, some guys throw things. That's fine. You call it frustration, other people say you want to see a little fire. You saw a little fire coming out of the dugout when the game was over.

Frank sought me out (Wednesday) and said he felt great. When Frank says he feels great, he plays. I don't want to fatigue him, though. We have a late arrival in Seattle, so there's a good chance Frank won't be in there (Thursday).

We can make sure to get him game ready hitting-wise. He went through minimal rehab when he came back last year and hit 12 home runs in 100 at bats. I take that as an indicator he'll be fine.

There was no panic in the dugout (when the Yankees took a 4-0 lead in the third). I said last year that the makeup of this team was tremendous. We have basically the same players with a couple of additions. They bounce back pretty well. Just because we got beat up in one game doesn't mean they're going to fold up.
