I don't think anybody was too happy with our performance and effort (Thursday) night. I thought as a team, we responded well to the challenge. I really liked the second efforts we saw in all different areas - not just the goals.

I learned [Thursday] what I always knew about our team. They can come out and play well against any team in the state. When they put their minds to it, they get out there and move the ball around and score.

I thought Drew Stafford played some of the best minutes he's played in his career here this weekend.

It truly was a team effort. I thought we had a shot at top five and the guys all year were telling me they were going to be top three and get a trophy. And they did it. That's the legacy these seniors will leave.

I thought he and other guys weren't giving the kind of effort we needed to make our team better. Fortunately, because of the score, we could use other people today.

I thought out of everybody on the team, Adam had the best performance on the weekend. Over the past two weeks since we came back from break, he's been wrestling better each consecutive week. It's about consistency and improving, and he's definitely been doing that over the last couple weeks.
