I don't think my like for it has changed. One good thing about the business is if you mess up a crop one year, you can learn from your mistakes the next year. It's a continual process.

It's patented and they do enforce it. Years ago, you could keep your own stock plants and take cuttings off them, but that's not the case anymore. Everything has changed.

A lot of people get antsy and walk through the greenhouse early, but it's still Wisconsin and the later in May you plant, the better.

About 35 percent of our business used to be entry-level buyers. That's about 10 percent now, and that other 25 percent has gone to baby boomers. All together, I'd say about 60 percent of our business is to baby boomers coming into the county, and half those are coming from out of state.

We're back in the heavyweight business, and we're thrilled to be involved. There's already a big global buzz about this title fight.

Our goal is to go to Los Alamos (2-1, No. 7 in 4A) and take care of business. They're a good team ... But if we show up on defense and continue to play offense like we did, we can compete with just about anybody.
