I don't think we could have started the meet any better. I expected that we would swim pretty well, and then Lacey came out and saw a really fast leg. It feels amazing to win.

A lot of people were not expecting us to put a relay in the top three together. But, we put it together and showed our depth and our heart.

I really wanted to win the 50 being the top seed in that, but I messed up my dive. So also being the top seed in the 100, I needed to focus on being able to get out first. I feel like I made up for it.

He waited until we got our medals and pretty much every one had cleared out. I'm not sure if he wants people to know it, but it was great.

Any shooter, if you get that first shot, you're going to end up feeling pretty good.

As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.
