I don't think you sign this type of contract and not expect to receive a lot of playing time. He won't start this year, I don't imagine. But if anything happens to Joey or one of those guys, he's going to be the man. He'll be the next great linebacker in Pittsburgh. That's what we're hoping for.

[Dennis] has spent so much time in the district he will be tough to replace. Nobody knows the buildings like Dennis does.

It's so much fun in the locker room. Guys enjoy coming to the rink and we're showing it on the ice. Everything is coming together for us.

Our team has gone on an up-slope and we just keep getting better. I just try to keep up with the guys. They've been playing extremely well. I've had to elevate my game in order to keep up with theirs.

We weren't going to give up, ... We weren't going to stop. We kept pressing and we came out on top. We said [after the second period] that Canada hasn't seen our best yet. We were disappointed with our first two periods and they hadn't seen our best hockey. We showed it to them in the third period and we got the gold.

You want to get the first one out of the way, ... It's awesome. It was kind of a blur, but it's also a weight off your shoulders.
