I feel like we can be a really good team. We've been contenders in the past, and we can contend again. There will be more hurdles for us than in the past.

If you look at other good schools, like (No. 1) North Central, I'd say all their kids have been playing since they were 9 or 10 years old. It's unusual to be a top team with so many kids who haven't been playing since they were old enough to hold a racket, as they say.

We are just inconsistent now. To me, we are past the point of being a young team. We should not be saying that anymore, but we are having a hard time putting 32 minutes together. They went to the boards and we didn't.

I've already been this year and not much seems to be different from past years if you ask me. I actually thought there were more people there this year.

This is the section that goes down the hill past Carey Junior High, which is getting pretty deteriorated. Sidewalk, curb and gutter is really bad.
