I feel like we're over the hump now. Some of these top 10 teams like Silver Creek, Berthoud, Longmont -- we've played them all and have been in a position to win in the fourth quarter in every one of those games, and we finally got the job done. We had an incredible third quarter.

I feel like I'm finally over the hump,

(Silver Creek is) very similar to Pueblo County. They're just as big as County and they have guards who are really active. Playing County three times this year should really help. I don't want to say that's a measuring stick, but at least it should prepare us for them.

I'm very pleased that we made the top four. But I feel that we could have had a stronger showing.

I haven't mentioned Regis one time to these girls. We're preparing for Silver Creek right now and Silver Creek only. We'll deal with Regis when we have to.

Kari has carried us on the boards all year. She has improved so much. She put in a lot of time in the off-season. When it comes to the state tournament they just don't call as many fouls, especially off the ball. She's been bruised, battered and bloody. She's a warrior. I love her game.
