I felt ashamed of being different and ashamed of feeling that way.

Only recently have I realized that being different is not something you want to hide or squelch or suppress.

I like being different.

Our uniqueness makes us special, makes perception valuable - but it can also make us lonely. This loneliness is different from being 'alone': You can be lonely even surrounded by people. The feeling I'm talking about stems from the sense that we can never fully share the truth of who we are. I experienced this acutely at an early age.

The way to make a difference in others life is to say only what they can’t; but to make it really good, do for them what they sanely need and not selfishly want.

Being different is making the right difference in the life of everyone by bridging the difference left between the reality of the word and the practicality of the world.
