I felt like I had to do it. We really wanted this bad and the girls who were with us last year really wanted us to do it. I've been dreaming about winning state. I couldn't sleep the night before the game because that was all I could think about.

Honestly, it's unbelievable having played four years and all of us girls having done it together. The friendships I made and going through all four years with the support of my teammates; I wouldn't have been as successful without the team.

We try to get in their shorts on defense. Whoever we're playing, it doesn't matter who it is. We just get up on them, and they'll make the turnovers themselves. We don't have to do much; we don't even have to foul them. We're quick enough to get all the steals. They'll give it to us.

It feels good to be one of the players who helped get all of this started at Metro. When I come back and go to games, I can say, ?that's my team out there.

I think the accessories look very modern and very exciting. These big earrings, these big hoops. I think the girls are sort of falling in love with ... collars, neck collars.

That was something that's exceptional to be able to hear. To finish with all of these girls, it was incredible.
