I felt really good, really relaxed. I made an effort to clear my mind.

It really is a team effort.

A lot of very cool items came in. It was a tremendous effort. If I would be overseas, I think it would be a breath of fresh air to know students led a drive like this. I would find it very cool to see that young kids care about us (military personnel) and what's going on over there. The staff really got behind it, too. Just like me, they commended the students, especially the student council for leading the project.

I told them anything can happen on a [bad] field like this. That's the most effort they've put forth this year.

We had a tough draw and I was hoping we could come back and put a good effort together. But on the whole, it was sub-par.
