I figure there's nothing better to do than help kids get through a hard time. This helps make the world a better place.

Coming here makes you realize that all the things you think are going wrong are really OK. Just as a person, it makes you feel you can't be that petty when a girl tells you they're the last in their bloodline. I've seen kids who've walked up the hill and back and they are coming up to me and giving me a hug.

This year it's helping me as much as it's helping them because I lost my grandmother earlier this year. Even as adults we feel we have to be strong. I think there should be something like this for adults.

It offers them a shoulder to cry on of someone who understands. This shows them if they are angry or sad, it's OK.

Each time you talk to these kids, they're so excited about the fact they can help somebody else. They're so different from anyone we've ever met.

It's a little goofy, but the kids can help promote world peace, darn it.
