I found out that what really motivates me and drives me is helping people. That had been true at DCI, where seeing that succeed really gave me a charge.

Its kind of comforting. Having supportive people who can help you achieve your goals is very important.

I just like helping people. It makes me feel good to know that I have helped them and that they appreciate it. At first I didn't think I would like it, but once you do it and feel how much people appreciate it, it gets in your blood.

It's nice knowing we're helping people out,

Helping people, feeding and shelter, that's the easy part. The challenging part is what do we do to get them back on their feet again.

We're helping people get supper on the table. As a mom myself, I know how hard it is to juggle schedules. This is work, but it's so gratifying to know I'm helping people.
