I gave my children what my parents didn't give me, and that's stability. I'd like to give that to my youngest child, and I think it's extremely unfair for you to take that away from him.

The vast majority of parents work hard at making sure (their children) get an education. There are some people who aren't as responsible about it.

It is day by day, but for now (Athens) is our home. We need stability for (our children).

Children everywhere need stability and certainty. These children need to be shown that their families are going to be okay. Those of us involved in the psychosocial sector are trying to create a safe place for them. And they need to talk about this -- information is a big part of what minimizes fear.

If I had received good instruction as a child I would be with my family today and at peace with my neighbors. I hope and pray that all you parents in the sound of my voice will train up your children in the way they should go.

All children alarm their parents, if only because you are forever expecting to encounter yourself.
