I guess you can say we did take a good whipping to some degree...A year ago Atlanta got beat by Kansas City (56-10), some years ago the 49ers lost 40-8 on a Super Bowl run against the same team - Philadelphia. When I was at Denver we had our lumps in our Super Bowl years. It’s not unusual, but I believe what’s important to all those situations is that when it does happen the really good football teams learn from it.
