I hate the thought that I'm just some kind of Russian nesting doll with the big outside and inevitably, rattling around under all the layers, a crude little peg with a face is the truth of me.

"Some people have no rational process. They walk through life with no filter between their brains and their mouths, no self control, imposing their insecurities upon the world around them. Self loathing coupled with a position of power, even if only for a short time, is a dangerous combination and unfortunately bestowed upon the weakest form of human beings".

Perhaps the most liberating moment in my life was when I realized that my self-loathing was not a product of my inadequacy but, rather, a product of my thoughts.

My ideal date would involve painful silence. My ideal date wouldn't involve me.

If the pursuit of perfection is a way to prove our worth, in the end the pursuit will only prove our imperfections.

If you had a person in your life treating you the way you treat yourself, you would have gotten rid of them a long time ago...
