I have always said to young artists that scholastic training and the studying of art history are crucial to fully developing as an artist.

The slides are the way art history is taught. It's the way artists and art historians learn about art. Even now, a good portion of your art history classes is taught with slides, not digitally.

I believe the work of art should change the existing visual, intellectual and aesthetical sense and experiment with finding new visual phenomena.
