I have been racking my brains and can find no reply [to] this very reasonable question. I can only suggest that the fictional part of me dried up.

But nothing in India is identifiable, the mere asking of a question causes it to disappear or to merge in something else.

For 20 years they have been asking me the same question, who is the greatest? Maradona or Pele? I reply that all you have to do is look at the facts - how many goals did he score with his right foot or with his head?

It's nerve-racking. He hits, and he misses, but he'll always take his shots no matter. But he hits a lot of them, so it's OK.

Books have to be read (worse luck it takes so long a time). It is the only way of discovering what they contain. A few savage tribes eat them, but reading is the only method of assimilation revealed to the West.
