I have no doubt she'll excel whatever she decides on. She's a perfect example of how someone can be a leader without necessarily being the best athlete. Everyone recognizes you when you give 110 percent.

That's just the kind of girl Meredith is. She's a team leader, a girl who works hard all the time and leads by example, and (senior) Chelsea Peters is another one. She's willing to do whatever we ask of her. She's a long jumper and she runs on some of our relays, and this year she's trying the high jump for the first time, too.

We have a fun group of girls. They work extremely hard. It is just a close-knit group. I am really happy with them, and they're young.

By going with an open system you invite the rest of the industry to participate. For example, other companies such as Lotus were able to develop applications.

When I judged, I wanted them to work clean. When in doubt, throw it out. I think comics don't need to be dirty to be funny.
