I have to tell them that victories are very, very precious in the SEC, ... I'm not fibbing a bit when I say I'd be thrilled to have a one-point victory. Even if it was 3-2, I could probably swallow that.

It may even roll into a little of the season before you can really be sure because when you get to the point of who you think it is, and he's the man, how will he handle being that guy? It's just hard to say when it will finally settle.

Everything we have been doing is certainly not too hard for him to comprehend, ... What is going to be important is how everybody else plays around him. If you protect him, he will have a chance to find some [receivers]. If we give him some type of running attack, it will help him.

Our goal (coming into spring) was not even to try to narrow it down as much as to get everybody as much exposure to what we're doing as possible. I don't think anything has changed in my mind or Mike's mind.

It wasn't quite the way we designed it with Joe stumbling, ... That's not the way it was supposed to go. I'm sure people would have been talking about that play for years if we'd won.
