I have tons of friends in the heavy-metal music world, and just going to see them inspires me.

The world sees Christians in a very boring way. We know the younger generation is reaching out to music and whatnot. The image needed to be cleaned up. You can go out and have fun and go to the movies. We spend our money on the same things everyone else does. God created it all, and he wants us all to enjoy it.

In the crazy world of touring, if something gets stuck at customs, I can do a show with just my amp!

The classical music world is so snobbish.

But in the next world I shan't be doing music, with all the striving and disappointments. I shall be being it.

It's just different in the music world. You come more with an entourage.
