I haven't been prouder of a group than this one. Each of them took on a huge burden today to come out and win this, and they did their parts and would have done more if I would have asked them.

I was pleased with our hitting today. I felt like that, with that amount of hits from us, and if our defense was where it should have been, we should have won both games.

Today was definitely fast. In the beginning guys were having to kill themselves just to get 15 seconds.

We had a very good first day, but today is just hot.

We did all right today. We need to work on our conditioning. It was very hot out there.

Today [Wednesday] he felt better, he told me that. He was moving around and not doing bad. We're not going to rush him back to anything and we're going to do exactly what the doctors tell us to do, he is. He's never been a tremendous patient, so we just have to be real smart with this.
