I hereby propose the term “miserize”, as a verb for misery – referring to “to cause misery”.

Being a stoic does not mean being a robot. Being a stoic means remaining calm both at the height of pleasure and the depths of misery.

The agonizing flames of misery can turn the human heart inside your skull into a breeding ground for virtues.

Misery builds character, happiness makes cheesecake.

For the ignorant, pain is a curse, but for the wise, it is a blessed moment for reinforcing one's inner goodness and morality.

With certainty, I can predict that there will never be a cure to cancer. The only hope for any of us is to concentrate on cause and prevent the misery.
