I hope that the Arab summit will help cool (the situation) down. Let's wait and see.

Israel has accepted the blueprint of Mr. Tenet, and we think it's again in the hands of Mr. Arafat. The ball [is] in his court.

His understanding has long been that we could not hold all the land, even if we won the war on terror, because the numbers are against us.

We hope we can be more balanced offensively. We have our quarterback back, and that should help us. We need to develop more consistency on both sides of the ball.

Since the Arab summit in Beirut in 2002, the Arab governments decided to give the Palestinians $600 million a year. That never materialized. The Arabs made promises, but never delivered.

It's a difficult situation here. We're too close (to Summit County) to be far, and too far to be close. We're the epitome of a bedroom community.
