I hope we get some definitive, achievable plans. I don't want it to sit on a shelf.

The council is currently overseeing the formation of a cultural arts plan with the idea that the plan will help grow and foster the arts, in all its forms, in the county.

What a shame. I want everybody in town to be at Lights On Tampa, but 65,000 people will be at the stadium, and a lot of people will be watching (the game) at home.

I hope that we can at least control these kinds of growths so they don't intrude on the residential neighborhood character.

I hope there is a place for Brandon. He's a damn tough (guy) and the kid can play.

I looked at our meeting room and figured I needed some help. I hope this kid stays, because I told him, 'If you hit anybody and do anything, you'll be playing the next day.... I like this kid. I just want to keep him here, because, man, we need him. All hands on deck.
