I just told the girls you have to believe in your ability. We are a better team than what we were playing at. We're starting to jell a little better.

I think the kids were pushing. Particularly after losing those first two games. We might have lacked some leadership. This is a young team.

It's all about athletes, especially with girls. If you can get an athlete out there that can just transfer ability, be coordinated and understand and do the mechanics and the techniques, you'll be OK. And they learn it really quick. This year I had 20 freshmen girls and I could have kept 20, that's how into the game they are.

We haven't had the best of runs with injuries and the timing couldn't be much worse. Hopefully both girls are OK.

She felt something crack. That injury thing affected the girls and they were concerned about her. We played a good first quarter then lost our intensity in the second quarter and stopped doing what we needed to do. We found some energy down the stretch.
