I knew I had to go out and play a good round and make it mine. Guys are shooting 61 and 64 from behind you, so I needed to keep it moving forward.

I am obviously really happy to get off to a good start. It's always nice to feel like you get into the tournament from the word go. That's what happened today. I birdied my second and third holes. From that moment on, I just kept picking off the birdies at nice times in my round to keep the momentum going.

The way he talks, the way he walks, everything is so under control. He didn't get off to a great start, but he never got flustered. He stayed patient and then -- wow!

You tend to hit your whole bag, from 3-iron to wedge. I don't think it suits one player or another. That's why it's such a good place.

We've both worked hard on our games this year, and it's starting to pay off. It was nice playing with him today.
