I know everyone is pumped up for conference. There is really no pressure to swim our fastest times at conference. We set everything up to swim our fastest times at sectionals.

I was really young when I swam at Ridgewood. I don't remember much besides that I was a little kid who was happy to be out of school for the summer. But I do remember Peter from swimming there and from going to school with him. I'm really glad I got to know all those guys growing up, and its really great to still see (Peter) at meets, even if it's only three times a year.

These are complex and complicated cases ... that require daily attention. Based on the claims of more than $40 million, this is money well spent on the citizens of Anne Arundel County.

It seems like I'm the one everyone is after. There is added pressure, but it's beneficial pressure that makes you swim faster.

I really want to bring ensemble playing back to the forefront - not just for me, but for everyone in jazz. When you have a group, a true co-op group, you can really heighten the possibilities of all the treasures of jazz.

When I see young people interested in music. I always look out for that passion in their eyes. You never know where that might lead.
