I know our fans have gone through some difficult times, but we said that we would remain flexible and give ourselves a chance to improve our team under the new rules governing the NHL.

I didn't sleep much last night. The feedback we're getting [from fans] is very positive. Time will tell.

It was strictly a business decision.

This is a new beginning for us, ... We've been very happy with the people we were able to acquire. They all have skill, they all can play the game and they all have different attributes.

We're done with that (stuff). We're going to learn from the past and move on. I'm concerned about today and tomorrow and what's best for the Hawks, not me.

Jocelyn is a class act and did a lot for our organization, ... We're happy to be able to get a deal done and we're happy that he's going to a good situation in Pittsburgh. He'll do quite well for them, we wish him all the best. It was strictly a business decision.
