I like it mainly because it is an outlet for my creativity. I get a chance to see my work completed. Usually, the projects are long-lasting, but they make an impact on the community.

I got involved with the project after a producer from ABC called. He saw my name on a state of Mississippi website. He asked me to help out on this project.

It's our creative outlet and a celebration of all the hard work we've done all year... mainly for the fourth-year (students). It's a way to showcase our stuff to our family and to the industry before we go out into the real world and get jobs.

Come out for the atmosphere and for a chance to taste some restaurants you might not have tried. It is a social thing and a good time.

It doesn't matter if people are playing jazz or writing poetry -- if they want to be successful, they need to learn how to persist and persevere, how to keep on working until the work is done. Woody Allen famously declared that "eighty percent of success is showing up." NOCCA (New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts) teaches kids how to show up again and again.

My work has taken a quantum leap in the complexity of what I can do. Enhanced creativity comes along with the flow of consciousness.
