I like musicals that look more like plays.

I think we live in an era without a predictable career path. Everybody's doing more, doing more at the same time, doing more faster. As such, individual projects can have wildly different developmental trajectories.

The annuals, the yearbooks, brochures and programs of old plays and musicals...that all tells the story about what they did.

While musicals still dominate on Broadway, 2005 was a very strong year for plays, too.
