I lived through the era that they talked about. I was a product of segregation. I know how hard they work to improve the life for all Americans. I'm a beneficiary of their legacy.

That period (1995-98) is not talked about enough. That was a great era for him. The political nuts and bolts. The campaign nuts and bolts. How to get things done. He was a quick study.
