It was just horrible. He was trying to be calm for us, but you could hear the chaos in the background and the terror in his voice.

I don't know what it is that they are doing. I certainly know that they didn't do a good job of thwarting 9/11 so I don't know if they are going to do a good job of prosecuting 9/11.

You cannot reduce to dollars and cents the losses New Yorkers have suffered from the vicious World Trade Center attack, just as there is no way to put a dollar value on the heroism and determination of our response, ... But to obtain the resources we will need to rebuild and create a better and stronger New York City, we must try to understand in dollar terms, what the attack cost our economy.

We're getting tied up in too many things. We need to get that bunch that bombed the World Trade Center first.
