I never played before in an NCAA Tournament, but that's the closest thing I can come to that. Crazy. Emotional.

This was our first tournament with Jordyn [Wells of Flora] and Chelsea [Kremer of Du Quoin] and they all played well together, as a team.

We're clearly delighted to be in the NCAA tournament. We've played Rutgers before and we know their history and tradition, but we have our own history and tradition.

I don't think we played real well as a defense. We missed a lot of tackles and played over-aggressive. We missed a couple of assignments here and there. We didn't do it consistently enough where it cost us, but we also didn't consistently stop them, either.

We also played in a round-robin tournament, so both squads had an enjoyable week.

You know what's so crazy about it? In high school, I played basketball and I was a trash-talker. Basketball is such a one-on-one sport and if I know I've got the ability to beat the guy, I can talk trash.
