I never really thought that I would have a chance to do this. It's such a great opportunity.

My initial thought was that I was going to try out for the team.

Hopefully, the league becomes bigger. I really think that [the Philadelphia area] is a good place to have a fan base. Softball is known for being really big in California, but there really is a huge interest in softball now in our area. So hopefully we can get kids to come out and watch, and the whole thing will grow.

I definitely wasn't ready to be done playing yet.

You pile it all together and you have to lose the game despite the fact we still had a chance to win that game. We played horribly and still had a chance.

It's important for the league, and especially for our club. A lot of players were waiting for this opportunity. I think it will be a great experience and hopefully it will open the door for American teams to play more of these kind of games.
