I play the "I love you more game" with God all the time.... it's called worship.

If worshipping God makes you feel like a completely powerless, utterly helpless, and totally insignificant little speck........then you're doing it right.

God's power, glory, and majesty makes me feel like I don't deserve to be in the same room with him. His love, mercy, and compassion lets me know I don't belong anywhere else.

I don't think God wants to be worshiped. I think the only pure worship of God is by loving one another, and I think all other forms of worship became a substitute for the love that we should show one another.

You don't really get to choose. We worship you, and that makes you our God.

God is God. If He is God, He is worthy of my worship and my service. I will find rest nowhere but in His will, and that will is infinitely, immeasurably, unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what He is up to.
