I realized more than anything that I wanted to learn how to do that. To be able to transport a whole roomful of people to a different world is breathtaking.

So why join the Storytelling Club? Because the shortest distance between truth and human beings is a story.

I will never forget the change that occurred when this plain, tiny little blonde got up in a theatre full of people. She took a deep breath, and became a series of different people. The stage was knee-deep in magic.

I realized that while we may not be able to donate as much as we would have liked if we had not been affected, we can still give of ourselves. People who could not donate items helped by donating their time as we sorted and delivered the goods.

I can only remember one case this year where we weren't able to transport someone through helicopter because fog was a factor.

I'm healthy now. I'm able to just go out and learn the playbook, learn the terminology and just go out there and play football.
