I really believe that switching products is important, especially for skin. I'm switching from day to day. If I'm tired, if my skin is dry, if I have a pimple, if my hair has been overworked, I will do something different.

Surely the day will come when color means nothing more than the skin tone, when religion is seen uniquely as a way to speak one's soul; when birth places have the weight of a throw of the dice and all men are born free, when understanding breeds love and brotherhood.

But it was better to know of it than to see it in its daily monotony.

I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Pageant makeup is so different from your day-to-day look. When you're on stage you really have to pack it on.

That really is my trademark. Day to day, week in, week out. If something happens and the crowd roars, I shut up.
