I really didn't know what to expect, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The freshmen are really starting to gain confidence, and the upperclassmen are showing them the way.

If she had done the floor routine she'd done last week she would have gotten a 9.8, but we needed her to do this routine when we get to postseason. She had a little bit of a problem (at the end), and she is so competitive, she is not happy with herself. That's kind of good. I expect her to come back with a vengeance next week.

Aubrey was simply unbelievable tonight. She hurt her shoulder on Wednesday and it was questionable whether she would be able to compete.

She's a great competitor. She has ice running through her veins.

When you are putting out a competitive lineup, it's like painting a picture for the judges.

What makes me so proud is that those whose names are honored have gone on to such good things. They are so much more than gymnasts.
