I really don't get the chance to see everybody in one place very often, except for family occasions. I thought it might be cool to treat everyone to a day of pure indulgence, a day of fun.

We want them to have the chance to participate. If they try out and want to be on stage, they will be on stage.

One of my granddaughters came to me afterwards with a suggestion. She said 'Grandma, we should try to do this every week.' That made me groan a little but I also had to laugh.

But then she discovered the beauty college. Everybody treats her like a queen and she loves going there. Every week since she's moved in with us, she'll have me make an appointment. And every week, she must have her hair style and she must have her hair set.

I love that. I love to lead worship and preach . . . I look forward to the chance to be in chapel every day since it's the place where faith and ideas come together.
