I really don't know why he resigned. It was the practice after the Clay County game that I found out.

Awesome. Aside from Ted Williams, he's the only guy I'd pay to see in batting practice.

That's something I'm working on. They're fine in practice, but it's a lot different in front of 15,000 people.

Each and every day in practice, I'm checking the best players between Ben [Gordon] and Kirk [Hinrich] and [Jannero] Pargo, guys who are great scorers, ... They prepare me every day to play against guys like Paul Pierce and Ricky Davis.

They (non-starters) are really getting better. When they are going against the starting five every day in practice they have really gotten better. I really think our bench is going to help us down the road.

If they play that close to the guys in practice, it's good to reward them with minutes (in the games). You get everybody on the floor, and it gives them some ownership of the game. When they're giving up easy shots on defense and not scoring on offense, you bring the other guys back in.
